Dear Jan

At the end of Dicember Mike told me that there was already evidence that the cancer has progressed into his brain, and that he had to go for a much more aggressive treatment.

But he told me too:
>......
> I keep believing that things are going to turn out OK; I have to get myself
> back into some kind of better physical and mental shape, while still listening
> to my body when it says it needs to stop and rest. I guess the "taking it just
> one step at a time" advice I keep giving myself is what is going to do that.
> ......

And given what happened to me ......
I was quite sensitive to Mike's war against his problem!

You wrote,
> ......
> ...........he was one of those rare people that no one forgets,
>even if you met him just once.

I am writing this message to confirm this!
.....and, while I am writing this, I am truly crying with no shame!

I am terribly shocked and even if I do not know Amy I feel terribly sorry for her sorrow and loss!

Piero
